Nativity scenes are known from many parts of the Christian world. In Germany, in the 18th century, especially in the mountainous areas, the building of cribs entered the life of the people. In the initially oriental held carvings of the Erzgebirge later increasingly indigenous and partly miner-influenced elements flowed. Today you can find nativity scenes and scenes from the sacred history in the assortment of our workshop? on Schwibbögen, music boxes and the fine decoration of our pyramids. Here, too, it is the delightful combination of artfully processed woods that lends its unmistakable fascination to the Christian motif on this natural-wood-colored arc pyramid. The linden tree is the center around which Mary and Joseph turn with the baby Jesus.
